Codebase is a young software services company with a great pool of tech-savvy developers. We started in the spring of 2018, and have been growing aggressively. We are located in Pune, India, and serve software product companies across the globe; focusing on enterprise SaaS, eCommerce, cloud, and application development.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic SAP Technical Lead with a strong web development background to guide end-to-end architecture, development, approval, deployment, and maintenance of SAP-integrated solutions.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, leading architectural decisions, ensuring SAP compliance, and driving successful delivery of enterprise-grade solutions.
Experience with Azure, C#, and React is a strong plus but not mandatory for candidates with deep SAP and web architecture expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable and secure SAP-integrated web solutions.
• Lead the technical strategy from design through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Guide the team through SAP approval processes and compliance requirements.
• Design system architecture, integration patterns, and deployment models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance.
• Oversee code quality, CI/CD, and cloud deployment strategies.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to development teams.
• Maintain and optimize deployed applications.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP development/architecture.
• Strong experience in SAP integrations (BAPI, OData, APIs, IDocs, etc.).
• Solid background in web application architecture.
• Experience guiding SAP approval and compliance processes.
• Proven experience leading full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise system design and best practices.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to system design and scalable architectures
• Experience with:
• Microsoft Azure
• C# / .NET
• React.js

• Experience with cloud architecture and DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with SAP BTP or SAP Fiori is a plus.
